I've had the Platinum card for about 10 years and am considering the SCHWAB version. I know it waives the fee, but will I receive double the credits (x2) on everything? If so, this system seems flawed. I haven't been able to find any articles explaining whether you get both benefits you just have to spend it on that exact card.

Yes, they’re two completely separate cards. You get everything twice.

I got 10 Plats as well & eat free monthly with Uber Eats/Resy. Upgrade from lower tier card, rinse & repeat.
I have 10 platinums and my wife also has 10. It’s completely busted for military.
you can apply for a second and third amex platinum. It doesn’t have to be Schwab
