The stock market is closed on weekend. Bitcoin is one of the few assets that can be traded on weekend. By my understanding, that would mean bitcoins volume should be higher on weekend than on weekdays because traders cant trade stocks, so trading focused on bitcoin. But bitcoins volume on weekends is actually lower than on weekdays, despite weekend, by my logic, being the time frame where everyone would jump to bitcoin because the stock market is closed
Why is the volume lower on weekends?

Less people active on trading platforms naturally equals less volume
Less liquidity, therefore less activity.
Because market is not retail driven at the moment. Might be the only thing that prevents another massive leg down. But if I had to I’d still bet on an intact cycle meaning nuch more pain ahead.ä before it gets better.
b/c ppl have a life
People are taking a break and enjoying the weekend
Most people trade during work hours during the week from Monday to Friday.
The traders take sat and sun off
Institutions aren’t operating over the weekend.
