How do people vibe code apps?

I have been reading a lot of reddit posts nowadays and all I see is, X built this. Y vibe coded this. etc.

I have been working on my own project for a year and finally, now that I have pivoted to a small version, it is coming to fruition. I initially vibe coded it but then learnt about AI a bit to continue it while I understand about it because otherwise I had to solve even simple errors with AI costing me a lot of time. Then, now I code small tweaks and debug myself and automate bigger ones with AI while understanding its written code.

And with this setup, I just get these questions about how others just produce new things so fast and easily while I am working for so long and am I doing everything wrong leading me to delays?

Any advice appreciated.
