There’s a lot of noise in the market right now, and it feels like short term price action is being driven more by headlines than fundamentals.
Geopolitical tensions specially involving Iran and the Strait of Hormuz r creating constant volatility. 1 day there are reports of escalation or disruption, the next day those same narratives get walked back or reframed. Markets react hard in both directions.
At the same time, political messaging particularly from Trump and people around hi. seems to have a noticeable impact on sentiment. Statements about negotiations, conflict, or policy direction can move markets quickly, even when the follow-through or accuracy is unclear.
You’ll c markets drop on negative developments, then rebound just as fast on renewed “optimism” headlines, only for those to be contradicted later. It creates a cycle where narratives shift faster than underlying conditions
Overall, the environment feels highly reactive and headline-driven, which makes it harder to distinguish real trends from short-term sentiment swings

Everyone is ignoring him now.
I’m just chilling in PHYS & VXUS until the storm passes. Might miss some gains but I sleep well at night.
The president doesn’t matter. Dollar cost average.
