Ok I found the article it’s the Rich Starry and it’s still in the strait of Hormuz. The US isn’t going to put their vessels right up against the strait, they will be out further to avoid enemy attacks. This article seems to be a half truth.

Thought the ‘blockade’ was only only on Iranian ships entering or exciting the Gulf of Oman, all others flagged ships* the US would allow to pass. Basically just a smoke show to not lose face after the failed negotiations.

Blockade is an act of war. If US does it to China, US will be at war with China. Will Trump start another war?
Since it is an act of war, congress needs to approve the blockade against China.
