Iran can be a bankrupt failed state but they will still have capacity to block strait of Hormuz or terrorize gulf infeastructure or train proxies. How long wil the blockade need to last before US (Israel) goals can be met?

Iran doesn’t get funds, but this puts the rest of the world into another price shock. Iran is happy to spread around the hurt and have demonstrated a resilience to this. The pressure is really going onto the US – especially when markets react (and we know how this works with the president)
