Give me some ideas for a project on renewable energy. It can be something crazy that will only pay off in a million years.

Solar Thermie, Photovoltaik, Heat pumps…
But renewable tech in general is worth it, if it wouldn’t its impact would also be neglectable.
Pressure plates that generate electricity as you walk on them, installed in a walkway in a Japanese city!!
Playgrounds hooked to generators.
I’ve been thinking of harnessing a groundwater pipe I found in the woods behind my house to use with a pelton wheel attached to a battery. It would generate maybe 1 kWh every 25 days 😂
Currently electrifying large ships to span the oceans is impractical as the batteries needed would take up most of the ships cargo area.
To overcome this, have solar farms along the shipping lanes that exchange batteries with ships as they pass by.
New quantum solar is 150% efficient…
A million years… Humans will not be on this planet in a million years.
You gotta be more specific than this, man.
Also, the only use case I’ve found consistently actually helpful for AI is this sort of thing. “I need some ideas of projects in x. Look at these sources, these twitter and LinkedIn accounts, and help me brainstorm 5-7 strong ideas.” I assume this is for some school project or something.
AI-enabled fusion generator that runs on the blockchain!
Batteries are the problem to be solved.
Need to be able to store that renewable energy before other fossil methods will go away.
A 100% DC grid to avoid inverter based stability issues.
Would be an interesting experiment, even at micro grid scale.
Human composting methane gas recovery system.
Solar supernova farming
Humans contenting themselves to live on the flows provided by the Sun, Moon, and geothermal processes.
Kinetic flywheel. But instead of where the tech is heading (high speed flywheels ina vacuum) go the other way. Make an ultra slow flywheel that is perfectly balanced. Spins so slow that friction doesn’t even stand a chance at sapping that energy. Because the rpm is low, you have to make the mass absolutely huge and then balance that thing with absolute precision.
Fitness gym that harnesses the power of the workouts to generate electricity….the more you work out, the less you pay for your membership.
I want a grey water system in my house that uses rainwater or shower water to flush toilets.
