Short term disability insurance

How likely is it that I would actually be able to make a claim on my short term disability policy? I pay for it through my workplace, but everyone has told me that I would never be able to use it if I need it. It’s through Aflac idk if that matters buttt if it’s difficult to actually use I want to cancel. Not asking for opinions on life insurance, just difficulty of claims for this type of thing.

I got it because it covers childbirth and I am high risk if I have another.
