Been investing TSLA since like 2022 and now Iβm focused on every SpaceX IPO rumor. With the confidential filing dropping and whispers of a June launch at a $1.75Tβ$2T valuation, this could be the biggest IPO ever.
But the real question is: whatβs the actual best way to make the MOST money off it?
First, the Tesla shareholder priority thing. Multiple reports (WSJ, Reuters, Sherwood) say Elon is considering giving preferential access to investors in his other companies, including TSLA holders. He tweeted years ago that βloyalty deserves loyaltyβ and would prioritize longtime shareholders of his companies if any went public. Now the rumor mill is saying they might carve out a special slice (5-10%?) just for verified Tesla retail investors, maybe through some broker verification. Even Bill Ackman floated that SPARC idea last year to give TSLA holders rights/warrants to buy SpaceX cheap. Whether it actually happens in the final prospectus weβll see, but it feels like Elon is trying to reward the ride-or-die investors instead of letting Wall Street hog everything.
So how could this realistically work will our brokers show Space X IPO before anyone because they know weβve been holding TSLA for years?
Also will I be able to get in on the actual IPO allocation via Trading 212 while being in the UK and using GBP? Or is that a no-go and weβre stuck buying on the open market after it lists?
Space X IPO π how do we actually max the SpaceX IPO money?
