Hey so I need help cuz this is actually so frustrating 😭

I called Credit One trying to cancel my card but every time I call I just keep getting people who don’t understand what an ITIN is. They keep asking me for a SSN and I keep explaining I only have an ITIN but they literally don’t get it and I get nowhere.

Now the bigger problem is I can’t even log in or make an account cuz their system doesn’t even read my ITIN properly. So I’m locked out AND I can’t cancel it either.

AND on top of that they somehow got my address wrong too which just makes everything worse and honestly they piss me off brutha 😭

So now I’m just stuck with this card and I don’t know what to do.

Has anyone dealt with this before?? How did you cancel or fix it?? cuz this is actually crazy

    pls help 🙏

So, if I understand you correctly, you have somehow managed to obtain a card from Credit One without an SSN, but you are unable to access your account online or by telephone because they don’t take an ITIN for identity verification. You also mention that they have an incorrect address for you.

      Some questions:

      * How did you apply for this card ? Did you put your ITIN number on the form where an SSN was expected ?
      * Have you tried giving your ITIN when asked for an SSN by a customer service rep ?
      * How did you receive the card ? If they do not have your correct address, how did the card reach you ?
      * Did you keep the letter that came with the card ?
      * Have you activated this card, or used it in any way ?

I suggest that you should **not** use the card. Put together a letter including as much information as you can, including the data you provided on your application, and the address to which the card was delivered. Include copies of your ID, and your ITIN, along with images of the front and back of the card. You should say that you are unable to access the account online or through their telephone service, and request that the card be cancelled. Send the letter by registered mail to the bank’s corporate office.

Be sure to keep **all** correspondence with them.
