We have family gatherings with up to two dozen adults and children a few times a year.
Getting tired of buying a pack of disposable cups every time. Yes I know I could reuse the Solo/Walmart party cups and we have but I'm looking for something with a wider base and much thicker plastic. I'm also.looking for cups with lids for the kids.
I'm looking for 20oz opaque or light colored reusable thick plastic dishwasher safe cups. These should also come with lids for the kids. Something I can use a permanent marker and write everyone's name on.
These cups should be stackable/nested but have a wide bottom to help prevent tipping over as well.
Of course I want to spend as little as possible but I'd be willing to invest up to 3 dollars per cup.
Thanks…
Looking for thick reusable plastic cups with lids for parties.

In lieu of plastic, go for aluminum. Search ‘Gevoli Aluminum Cups with Lids’. These are the widest base ones I have found and pack away nicely. 30 cups would run you about $45
Do they have to be matching?
Reusable water bottles are a dime a dozen at thrift stores. You can probably find a bunch of smaller Stanley type cups (the type with the fast food style lid/straw but reusable) fairly inexpensive secondhand.
I have been buying Tervis double insulated cups for past few years that are 24 & 32 oz anytime I see them at thrift stores.
I never spend more than $3 and none of them match but they are dishwasher safe and company uses them all the time.
It’s not what you were really looking but it’s an option.
I don’t have to use the disposable cups
anymore.
check out amazon or target for options like this, they usually have a bunch of durable reusable cups with lids. you might even find some in bulk to save more in the long run. good luck!
Boomer here and remarried. We combined household and with inheritances have dozens of glasses in storage plus a few dozen mason jars of different sizes. We can host family gatherings!
Start saving your glass food jars. Wash them of course. They will be good enough for your gatherings.
Get those containers you get soup in when you get carry out soup
