Thoughts on Bitcoin and quantum computing…
It looks like legacy Bitcoin addresses might not be fit for purpose when quantum computers become operational.
Seems like Charles Hoskinson might rightfully or wrongly be gloating in this video but it seems like he might have a point. From what I can gather Bitcoin is being forced to hard fork to protect the asset going forward because all the legacy coins are going to be dumped as they do not have proper security from the quantum computers. I’m interested if anyone knows or has ideas on this
