Odd situation, I definitely fucked up but I think this one may be abnormal. I wasn't trying to evade any fares or minimums, I just read my ID printout card wrong.

I used to live in Idaho, and my secondary driver currently lives there. The car is being garaged and driven, in OHIO for a few months now. (I genuinely thought I did it, I did change my renters.)

    Anyways, my Insurance card says:

    Insurer: Progressive Northwestern Ins Co

PO Box 6807 Cleveland OH 441

    Named Insured:

    Me

    Wife

    [Idaho address] (Where wife lives.)

I moved to Cleveland. I live within two miles of that Progressive insurance building. I was under the impression that had meant my insurance policy was updated as that's on my physical card I keep in my car. I checked it like 3 days ago as I was unsure.

I've got a massive hail damage claim as of today and was hoping someone could give me some insight to how rawed I'm potentially going to be.

Never made a claim (me or wife) and have been with Progressive for 10yrs. Thank you! (please have mercy on me)

Didn't update state in auto policy properly. Now have claim in said state. How boned am I?

    1. That is a regional office. It has nothing to do with your garage address. They can absolutely deny this claim based on material representation.
