Any frugal New York City folk here? Looking to make a calendar of fun events / groups to join in on during the year without selling a kidney. Any suggestions? I’m in some $40 under 40 event groups but love to get some more.

We are saving up for a home and a newborn this year but love the outdoors, arts and culture, cooking, reading, anything that is like analog hobbies that don’t look at a screen and giving back to the community.

I want to see more shows around art and culture. The price tag for things here are steep. I try to make the most of the library culture pass.

Anything else you would recommend or can share for someone wanting to soak in the city before a newborn comes but I don’t have the deepest pockets due to a budget of about $150/month per adult.
