Hey all, I’m a 4 year broker here. I chose to be an independent broker right out of the gate. I’m very happy with my choice to do this, because of the freedom and amount of products I can offer. This also means I’m 100% commission. I’m based in CT, and my primary market is Medicare. Although I also offer annuity, final expense, life, LTC, ancillary, and more products. We are currently out of any major enrollment periods for Medicare. And my t-65’s are slim. On top of all else, I only have 2 comissionable MAPD plans in the state currently. So making a living is getting harder as time goes on. I’m getting by, but I need to do something. I have leads, I take tables when possible, and I work with my local senior center to hold classes and sponsor their events. I don’t have many leads because of the lack of enrollment periods right now. What can you guys suggest to help me grow, I haven’t done a lot of life insurance but I do feel comfortable in it. It’s just that buying leads right now doesn’t seem like it’s very effective for me. I’m eager to hear some replies. Thank you all.
