Unplugging my gas stove for a long period of time

My stove keeps showing F5 code & will not stop beeping. I tried turning the breaker off & on but that didn't work. I've unplugged & replugged it still continues to beep without stopping. My landlord said they can't come look at it until next week. Is it bad if I leave it unplugged? I just don't want a gas leak or something! Also does anyone know what this code means?!?!
