Good morning, Stocks community. Now that $LION has done a 110% jump from when first posted here, it's time for a much thought out thesis on the next play. I've exited $LION in full.
I am building a large position in VYX, NCR Voyix, the split company from NCR focusing simply on software, enterprise grade point of sale, for restaurants and retail, across the world. This company is an asset-lite software behemoth that is transitioning post-split into their saddle of software and ARR for national/international sized brands worldwide. Once these brands utilize their POS, it is VERY unlikely they switch, and they have a constant stream of new 500+ unit operators joining the past few quarters. This is STICKY software that would be very tough to swap.
Revenue was flat; however, their margins are improving, they consistently buy-back shares, and their debt is manageable in the event of a take-over.
I can see VYX being bought out by the "TOST" of the worlds as they focus on the areas of business TOST does not, large scale operators, and would compliment the individual to small-sized target market that Toast has successfully won over. At just 10% EV inclusive of debt, even a double from here is possible with buyout talk beginning.
NCR was actually a company I followed before $LION 7 years ago, and I am posting this today on a Saturday as the intention is to not drive up share price based on my thesis but create awareness for everyone to do their own research. I hate nothing more than the 9:35 AM posts of AI spam to inflate stocks artificially. This is a 1 year+ hold. Cheers to all.
Moving on from LION – NCR Voyix VYX – Next Long Play
