Who’d have thought a fossil-fuel shill like Trump would be the one to spark a green revolution?

The only reason why renewables haven’t fully kicked off despite the subsidies, is, well Musk and big oil are actually the largest welfare queens and take money without innovating all that much so they can have a chokehold on their respective markets, and there’s not that much private investment because of the fluctuating price of oil. No one wants to invest in a business that might be profitable for 2 years and not after that. That has always been the case.

So whenever the price of oil skyrockets, everyone is back to eyeing renewables. Happens all the time. Until there’s a push by the government to phase out oil we’ll just keep going back and forth every few years
