Okay so I have State Farm insurance for my car I have full coverage. When I had my old car it was insured through State Farm I bought a new car went to geico because the rate was cheaper then my mom got a new car too a few months later I added her car to my policy. And while talking to Geico I told them there was a resident in our household that wouldn’t give me his license number to list him as a driver on said policy. Geico said not to allow him to drive the cars because under no circumstance, would he be covered. I said okay. After like 3 months I went back to State Farm because I got higher insurance limits with less money
So I told State Farm back in June of 25 I think it was the same that their was a household member that wouldn’t give me his license number they said it’s fine (the agent did)
So my question is if me or my mom ever got into an accident and say he was a passenger in one of our cars could the claim be denied even though I told the agent or could the policy be canceled if like underwriting found him somehow later on things like that? I used to let him move my old car but back then I didn’t know how strict insurance policies were until I got with Geico lol now I’m picky and if say my nana needs to borrow the car for a week or two I call my agent and let them know and give them the dates and they seem to be okay with it my nana is of course not a resident of the house though.
