Would you file claim? (Hit&run, identified, little damage)

Would you file a claim on principle?

Happened in Oregon. I was rear ended while yielding at a roundabout. I had a dashcam (front and rear) and also got out and took pictures of the driver and his license plate.

Despite telling the other driver to follow me they kept going around the roundabout and fled. A good Samaritan followed them and also called 911.

I have video, photos, witness and police report with the other drivers insurance info.

There is very little damage. Basically some scratches but you never know with new cars and sensors and stuff (24 Rav4). The bumper did get pushed in but looks to have returned to form.

If the other driver was cool I might have considered taking his info but might not have filed a claim. Now I feel like I should file a claim to their insurance just for the principle of the matter.

Would you file a claim with the other drivers insurance?
