How many rounds of negotiation did it take before you accepted a settlement, and what was the timeline between offers?
I’m in an NC bodily injury claim with clear liability. We rejected the first offer and are waiting on the second. It seems like a case that should settle pre-suit, but I know these usually go through a few rounds first.
For those who’ve been through it—how many offers did it take before you settled, how much time passed between each one, and was there a big jump between the first and second offer?

Shoot 3-4 is reasonable and normal. It’ll get marginal increase each ones maybe.
