In my neck of the woods, the price is currently $5.59/gallon for regular unleaded at the five gas stations around me. So I’m going to say, certainly yes. I can see another $0.40 bump up easy with the Schrödinger’s Strait situation (the cat is both alive and dead. the strait is both open and closed)

Yes, I think it’s likely the US national average pump price for cash Unleaded Regular will hit $6 this summer. Which means I will probably see $7.50.

Diesel was 6+ on my trek through Arizona awhile back.
I do think we will see gas at 6 in the next month or two. Or depleted reserves.
