Self-explanatory. I'm low-income but pay off my card in full every month. What's the card with the best rewards for somebody like me who doesn't spend a lot but won't have to worry about interest?

If you’re low income with low spend a 2% catch all card will be the best. Look into:

Wells Fargo Active Cash, Citi Double Cash, Fidelity Visa

You seem to already have good credit card habits so worrying about interest isn’t a factor for you. Get a 2% cash back, no fee card. Fidelity and Wells Fargo Active Cash are some examples.

A card with a good SUB that would still be useful beyond receiving it. It takes $10000 spend to get back $200 on a 2% card.

Any credit card that earns unlimited 2% cash back on all purchases with no annual fee. The three most popular such cards are the Wells Fargo Active Cash, Citi Double Cash, and Fidelity Rewards. Runner ups include the Navy Federal cashRewards+, PNC Cash Unlimited, and TD Double Up. Pick whichever you vibe with most.

If you’re very very low spend, the US Bank Ralphs Rewards or one of its variants. That does 5% cash back on all mobile wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, etc.) purchases for the first $3,000 of spending each year. Even after surpassing that cap, it still has 3% dining and gas categories.

I’m also low income and pay fully. More interest is a good thing IMO as better rewards often come with it.

I focus on the basic cashback ones. Amex Blue Cash Everyday is my main as it’s 3% online retail stores which is the vast majority of my purchases. 5-7% with Amazon card. Other store cards can be good, unfortunately I think Costco’s is pretty bad outside of gas.

Any of the 2% catch-all cards are good, the usual posted here. If you have lesser credit, maybe settle for Capital One Quicksilver for 1.5% that’s easy to qualify for one of the Discover cards if they’re still accepting.

    6. Wells Fargo Autograph and Active Cash. $0 to hold, lots of every day bonus categories with a 2x floor. Can redeem for travel rewards or cash back.

    7. “Best” is subjective

What are your top spend categories? Do you value cash back or points? Etc

      Use the template.

    8. If you’re low income and want some actual value, I’d just run through all of the no annual spend $500 in 3 months get $200 welcome offer cards

If you want travel rewards and can swing the SUB spend and annual free, VentureX.

Until it’s nerfed, it pays for itself if you take one trip.
