I'm working on transferring from SAVE back to old IBR. I consolidated and entered old IBR back in 2011 until SAVE was created and the previous administration kept asking me to switch. As soon as I switched, 2 months in, the courts froze SAVE. So, I've been sitting ever since.
In January 2025, I recieved the Biden one-time student loan waiver which took me up to 276 credit payments with 24 to go. It really helped! However, shortly after, Trump's administration yanked the payment tracker down, but not before I downloaded, printed, and screenshot everything.
Now I'm seeing a weird banner on Student Aid saying they are working on returning the payment tracker with the accurate reflection payment count to adhere to the court ruling. What does that mean!!!!???? Does this mean they are going to try to reverse the credits I got under Biden for deferments and forbearance? I do not trust this administration.
