This rack has been with me for years and is relatively sturdy for all its cheapness (much better than the replacement I bought under a year ago that's already missing more rods than this one and stands up worse), but I gave up a while back on reattaching these rods 'cause I was having no luck with superglue or whatever I was using.

I imagine stronger glue and finding a way to actually clamp the rods into their holes while they dry would help, but since a) I don't believe I own any clamps rn and b) I wouldn't even know how to go about clamping the rods in, I wondered if anyone here had any ideas aside from or adding to that one?

1st picture is an example of how it would standing if all the rods were in place, pictures 2 & 3 are the rack in question and the missing rods, and last picture is obligatory cat tax for the darling little laundry criminal (~2yo, named Cassiopeia) to whom that ragged-ass laundry basket in picture 3 belongs lol

step 1: pop out the black disc that is stuck in the grooved pocket slot.

step 2: find the most correct decapitated rod end by slowly rotating to see if the remaining cracked off black/grey plastic ring is a match (negative impression)

step 3: use 2 small thin flat headed wood screws (phillips) to drill it thru the disc at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock (not center) and into the meat of the remaining black plastic ring.

step 4: repeat 1-3 for all rods ends.

alt more dangerous method: borrow pliers with a wire cutter integrated, cut several 2cm wire spikes from paper clips , borrow a lighter. heat the spikes using the pliers and stab/melt into the same location as the screws 12 and 6 o’clock.
