I used my freedom flex to book a flight and didn't the the 9 percent. Only 6. I did activate the q2 quarterly bonus. If im getting the right information. It should stack up to 9% with the standard bonus and the rotating category? Did I do something wrong or call chase?

The rest of the points will post separately, usually as a “Bonus on Chase Travel” entry if you look through your Rewards activity. Might take a bit.
What I believe you should see on the purchase is:
1% base
4% additional on Chase Travel purchases (the regular category)
Then a separate entry with the remaining 4%.
