I’d like to share my current thesis and position on Googl,I’ve been adding to my position recently around the $300 mark, tbh, I see a clear path for the stock to double over the long term.
We’ve seen a solid run for tech over the past year, and the pullback Cuz of the war,we saw in late February provided a necessary cooling off period for the AI hype cycle. Looking at the broader market flow, it’s clear that capital rotated out of tech and into defensive plays like Energy and Consumer Staples.
However, with the peace talks circulating in early April, we’ve seen a sharp snap back in the major tech leaders. Among these, I’ve chosen to go heavy on Google. Here is the logic behind my conviction:
If you look at the price action since the early April rebound, the move has been disciplined. Apart from the surge on Apr 8th, the gains have been steady and measured rather than parabolic. To me, this suggests strong institutional accumulation rather than speculative retail chasing.
The analyst consensus is shifting favorably. Reports are consistently pointing to Google Cloud outperforming expectations, and the integration of AI driven ad optimization is clearly beginning to show up in their margins. Many analysts are currently pointing to an undervaluation relative to its growth trajectory.
Product Momentum: Recent data shows Gemini usage has climbed to 27%. Furthermore, Google I/O has evolved from a niche developer conference into a major showcase for their AI roadmap, which I believe will be a massive catalyst for sentiment.
I believe we are currently in a setup phase before the next leg up. I’m expecting the upcoming earnings report to act as a significant rerating event for the stock.
I’m curious to hear the community’s take on this,am i right?
What are your expectations for next month’s I/O?

Yes bullish on Google also. I bought GGLL
Bullish ye but was better a few weeks ago, better growth opportunities right now if you already hold
Me too
An elite leader, a stock everyone should own.
In addition to their core businesses, they own about 6% of SpaceX and 14% of Anthropic and stock might get a boost leading up to these IPOs.
Too expensive, mark my words
I think the amount of cash they will need to burn in order to dominate AI will eventually send the stock tanking, however, I think they are in the best position to dominate AI in western markets. If you are planning on DCA’ing over a long enough time, I think it is a good investment.
Bullish
**Leaving NVIDIA = Winning Money**
Google left NVIDIA in 2020 and created TPU. Claude became the highest revenue AI thanks to TPU. Gemini, trained and powered by TPU, is the most used AI in the world. 2 billion users on Android and 3 billion google search users.
Google is the market winner. 120% in the last year. Outperforming all other mag7 companies.
When they solve Quantum they will become $15 trillion.
Really going out on a limb here
after I/O there is WWDC Siri, which hopefully would also be powered by google
It’s my biggest holding. They will reach agi before others. When they do, the stock will go parabolic. They have the full stack. Infrastructure, software, web, content from YouTube, ads, robots, deep mind, waymo, i mean is there anything missing? They will be the first 10 trillion dollar company within the next decade or two. That’s when a loaf of bread will be 50 bucks as well.
I like Google but it’s so expensive right now. It was nice when it was around a 17 F P/E last year, but now it has run up to 28. I would rather invest in Microsoft (23 FP/E) and Amazon (30 FP/E) because they’re all using their non-AI businesses to finance AI spending and Google’s advertising revenue is very cyclical. Nothing against Google, but I need to get a discount to invest in my 3rd favorite hyper scaler and I am not getting that currently.
It’s legit a small ETF with the amount of sectors their in
that 5 second mini dip was not a “cooling off period”
Warren Buffett purchased google shares in the range 190-200$
Never heard about it
One of the largest most successful companies on the planet would be a good buy, yes.
I can’t speak for short term, but over the long term Google is becoming obsolete. Google Search is the majority of their revenue and is quickly becoming obsolete.
If I wanted exposure to digital ad industry I’d probably buy Meta, if I wanted exposure to enterprise, I’d buy Microsoft.
uh …. It’s Google.
