ASTS experienced extreme volatility following the BB7 satellite issue after separation from the rocket the rocket launch proceeded flawlessly according to plan with no malfunctions at any stage satellite deviations post deployment are not unusual in the space industry and do not undermine the long term fundamental value of the company the rapid price drop was a clear result of panic selling from investors overreacting to short term headlines I took advantage of the irrational pullback to add shares at 74 when price found technical support as the market calmed the stock bounced higher and I sold part of my position near the 80 intraday high to secure quick short term profits my trades were based on technical analysis support and resistance levels and overall market sentiment not on any attempt to manipulate the stock or influence other investors I am sharing this real trade for open discussion without any pump and dump agenda or misleading claims every decision was driven by actual price movement and real time market reaction to company news

Rocket launch went fine ASTS stock drop seems driven by panic

Something was screwed up with the launch or otherwise the satellite would stay in orbit. Not sure you can fully blame ASTS, but until somebody else gets blamed the stock will take the hit.

    2. Rklb and lunr make the rockets. ASTS, as shown by this recent failure event, relies on another company… that’s something out of its control… yes “it was paid for by insurance” but that insurance goes up everytime they fail to get one in orbit. Additionally they’re gonna have a lot of competition for a market that’s not fully understood (how much will we rely on satellite networks)
I would buy the company’s who make the rockets who do the delivering (pick and shovels)

I dont care about the launch failure, or even the non stop delays, but the management kinda sucks. They keep giving unrealistic guidance, when they have to know its gonna be impossible.

1/3th in the year 0 sats launched. But 45 end of year sure

Any company that loses several hundred million to be able to operate is going to have a rocky ride as it eats its cash, and you have investors who take their profits.

      1. Please at least attempt to use punctuation.

      2. “any stage satellite deviations post deployment are not unusual in the space industry” -> the rocket literally had a failure and put it into the wrong orbit. This was not a “post deployment deviation”.
