Do you think there should be more marketplaces where people can directly buy and sell real things using crypto? I’m thinking about things like cars, equipment, or even property — not just online services. Right now it feels like most crypto usage is still trading, while real-world marketplaces are

of course , I’ve tried but its like a chicken & egg situation, I had an online marketplace running for about 3 years , I ran out of money to keep paying the hosting + domain name bills ,

Without users its hard to attract products & services – without products & services its hard to attract users,

I have many skills I was happy to trade for cash or crypto payments myself & I expect others do too

(so knowing I’m not alone) , I tried making an international site, free listing for people who could do anything, driving, delivery , lawns or babysitting but it was hard to earn trust , I tried tieing it in with linked-in or giving users the option to be pseudo-anon (incase they wanted to deliver medical cannabis for all i cared) but gaining/ earning that trust initially is still hard – running a databased CMS site by myself was expensive, but I had database management skills , if only I had products , I wanted others to provide them & help build the database – but storing the data is not cheap.

I also invested alot of money into the original marketing CMS software & extentions, hoping to make a return, I ended up with a ghost town & tons of sample listings, but no profits

I think that would help adoption a lot. Right now most people still see crypto mainly as an investment not something to actually use.
