nobody told me the spread was going to be the actual thing to watch. two months reading "best of" lists, calling three companies, and not one of them mentioned "3-4% over spot per ounce"
they all just said low fees. love that for me
my neighbor did a rollover last year and warned me about custodian fees and storage fees. said nothing about the spread. she also tried to sell me on her timeshare that same afternoon so maybe i shouldve pressed harder
the custodian and storage stuff i found upfront. the spread i didnt find until i was basically done with the paperwork. just sitting there like it wasnt quietly 3-4% of my entire rollover. cant believe thats the number that doesnt make the brochure. real commitment to the "no hidden fees" pitch
has anyone else found this?? did i miss something obvious or do they all bury the spread. also what ranges were people actually quoted before committing
finished my first gold IRA rollover and spreads were the hidden game
