Why is writing simple emails so weirdly hard?

I don’t know if it’s just me, but writing emails feels harder than it should be.Like… I know what I want to say, but making it sound normal (not too formal, not dumb) takes way too long. Yesterday I needed to send one and got annoyed, so I just typed what I meant into a small tool I made for myself and it turned it into a proper email in seconds.It actually sounded better than what I would’ve written 😭

Now I’m wondering… do people actually struggle with this or am I just overthinking emails?
