Citi Strata Premier recon call with requirement I have not heard about

I called the Recon line a couple days ago to try my luck. The denial reason was "insufficient credit history". The representative was telling me that with that reason they are not able to budge. She was saying that this card has a hard requirement for my credit report to show 3-4 cards with at least 12-18 months of history each. This was not something I had read online anywhere in regards to this card.

For context here is basic info they pulled from experian:

Score: 793

Cards on record: 3 (one as an AU)

Average age of accounts: 2 years

Utilization: 2%

No derogatory marks, missed payments or collections.

Auto loan and mortgage in good standing

Cards:

Discover opened 2021

Discover opened 2020 (AU)

Sofi opened Dec. 2025

I guess I was a little ambitious applying for this card, I plan to try and get the custom cash in a couple months once that sofi card hits 6 months and trying again for the Premier next year.
