I have been trying to keep habit of buying things used or new with best re-sale value.
Best case scenario is if I can buy something used and sell it for the same money some years later.
I'm talking anything from entertaiment electronics, clothes, kitchen appliances, furniture etc.
From what I've found out,
For vacuum cleaners: Dyson cordless
TV's: Lg Oled,
Airfryers: Philips
Cars: Toyota Corolla
More ideas?
Which brand/modelof any industry has the best re-sale value?

Probably apple for phones and laptops.
I have a Camry hybrid, another great option for resale value
??? Just buy something that lasts and run it into the ground before buying a new one.
Defying all logic, the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota Tacoma are the best reasonably-priced car to buy for depreciation, not a Corolla. The cult following makes them the slowest depreciating cars on the road. I had a 2016 Tacoma that I bought for 27.5k in 2016 and sold for 24k in 2020 with 65k miles on it. By all accounts, they’re not good vehicles: uncomfortable, terrible gas mileage, not practical. But it’s what the people want.
If you want a vehicle that truly doesn’t depreciate, and you don’t have to drive often, an 80s or 90s Volvo or Mercedes. Especially the R107 and C107 chassis Mercedes, which are entering into collector status, but can still be bought cheap. Find a pre-1990 SL or SLC that hasn’t had the timing chain and gaskets done yet, lowball it by 5k, do the work yourself in a weekend for less than 1k, and sit on it for 5 years, only driving it on weekends, and it’ll be worth twice as much when you go to sell it.
