I am not looking at day trading for a living or anything like that. I have a decent amount of money put away (low 6 figures) that I am looking to slowly trade over time while still working my normal career . While I have done a lot of research, the reviews to every stock course is either 5star and the best thing ever or 1star and total scam so I wanted to get more ideas.
My preference is trading off fundamentals using options in the 1-3 month range.

1-3 month range still is gambling, not investing. Wrong sub.
Don’t
What exactly are you looking to learn?
r/options
Fundamentals mean absolutely nothing when a tweet can crash the market for 1-3 months.
If you want to use options, buy 2+ year. It gives you leverage over stocks and some protection from whatever short term nonsense the markets have to contend with.
Options are primarily a tool for managing risk, not an investment. Any thesis using options requires you to be right on timing the play, as well as being actually right on your thesis and being able to quantify the exact amplitude of your gains.
It’s a whole other level and 1-3 months, you’re competing against quant statistical and econometric models that are already incorporating everything into their asking price because longer term structural trends and new relationships are not a concern. I truly would not recommend.
Options should really be regarded as a risk management tool. You accept to pay a premium to hedge yourself against a specific risk.
