Because xAI bought Twitter in an all shares sale, Musk’s ownership stake in xAI increased to like 58% I believe. When SpaceX bought xAI in an all shares sale, then Musk would have gotten 58% of the SpaceX shares from that sale. He consolidated his shares into SpaceX shares prior to the SpaceX IPO in which the company’s expected to IPO at a massively inflated overvaluation.
No surprise there, massively overvalued companies built on vaporware and government subsidies / giveaways seems to be Musk’s expertise.
I’ve really never heard of a conglomerate owned by one man buying up so many failing companies in that conglomerate in all shares sales as I’ve seen with Musk. It all started with Tesla buying Solarcity at a massive overvaluation in an all shares sales, while Solarcity was insolvent and quickly heading towards insolvency.
Remember folks, the only thing this man cares about is winning. He wants to be the richest. He wants people to worship him. He has shown he will gladly cheat to do it.
He’s like the video game bot user that wins every game and thinks that means something, when the reality is, all the other players who play the game fairly absolutely despise the cheaters. Of course, in a video game, normally the cheater would be banned… but then Musk got caught cheating in Path of Exile 2 last year and didn’t get banned. Yes, the richest man in the world touted his gaming credentials by cheating in a video game last year. It was a whole thing in the gaming community in the days before Musk decided to unapologetically admit to the cheating to kill the social media coverage of it, and then days later did a double nazi salute in front of the US Presidential seal during his speech at Trump’s inauguration rally.
Imagine what one can accomplish when rules don’t matter and you’re never held accountable.
