Just wanting to hear about others experiences. Was sharply cutoff, dude slammed his breaks, I rear ended him. My research tells me for rear end accidents fault is typically placed on the person that rear ended. You weren’t following at a safe distance, should’ve make every effort to stop… I know I’ve already read all that…. but what if you have footage to show that other driver instigated and caused the collision?
I’ve already submitted my footage to the insurances. I live in TX
Can dash cam footage be used to put other driver at fault for rear ended accident

Not sure about dash camera footage, but my mom was rear ended and surveillance footage from a nearby car dealership clearly showed her failing to stay in her lane while making a right hand turn and cutting off the driver. She was found at fault. She was also driving while elderly in Florida so that should have been the first clue, LOL
