Hello! I currently run a dog walking business and I have been very fortunate with word of mouth marketing. I am moving to a new city, and need to begin to market the business, as I'm essentially starting from scratch. I was thinking of postcards to advertise rates, logo, contact, etc. to leave at groomers, vets, etc. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
Postcards or standard business card to market dog walking business in new city?

I once made a business card design that had a QR code which upon scanning, pre-filled contact details on both Apple and Android. I’m thinking a smiliar design might do well for you, around the dog park with a small free treat? Thereafter you can invest in a booking website so people can schedule where and when you can walk their dogs, by that time you’ll already have reputation sprawling so booking will be easier to do for pet owners. Even a “Scan to Walk Your Dog” QR sticker around the way leading to that website.
Business cards, because you can hand them out to people with dogs.
Ideally, you want all the dogs in close proximity to each other. So as you walk the first dog, it’d be convenient to give other people your card, and they’d likely take it, because you also have a dog.
