Dad Died, Mom Lacks Money Access

My father dies a few weeks ago, and my mother, his wife, knows nothing about his finances. To make matters worse, he dies abroad and we still don't have the "certificate of death abroad."

She told me today that she only has access to money enough for the next two months. How do I even begin getting her the rest of their joint property? Very stressed out.
