My lenses are scratched so bad that lenses are basically worthless but my frames are in decent shape. I’m wondering if anyone knows a good place or website to get lenses from that will last a couple years. It also has been about 5 years since I’ve had my prescription updated so I might need an appointment as well. Any and all recommendations would be much appreciated.

Zenni is where I go. My wife uses eyebuydirect. Both are cheap, and if you need sunglasses you can get prescription sunglasses there too.
There are several places you can buy prescription glasses online. I got mine from Zenni Optical. I think they were less than $40. See if there’s a Walmart optical near you. Their exams are pretty inexpensive, ime. If you ask for a physical prescription after the exam, they are required to give you one.
I don’t know about cheap eye exams but I buy my glasses through Zenni.
