My puts are finally printing lmao. Been saying for months that AI hype was getting way ahead of actual usage numbers and revenue streams. Everyone at my work was obsessed with ChatGPT for like two weeks then went back to googling everything like normal. The enterprise clients aren’t converting at rates they expected and consumer retention is pretty trash when you actually look at daily active users vs the initial signup surge

WSJ can say whatever they want, but what have they been right about when it comes to OpenAI, and the entire AI theme exactly so far?

OpenAI oversubscribed 3T IPO will be the straw that breaks the bulls back… Until everyone rushes in to buy the sympathetic ticker dips within 2-3 weeks and carries the indexes sideways for 2 months and then bam new highs.

Why else would they be racing to dump shares on retail?

Makes sense. They’re building a trillion dollar company that essentially summarizes Reddit posts from the last 4 years. Reddit search has dramatically improved and Gemini summaries are summarizing it better with less hallucination.
