Hi all, I have come across this group and I was interested to know the thoughts of people about investing in the UAE/Dubai Property Market.

Being based and living in Dubai, I see the market being on the ground but people not in Dubai have many different takes due to recent events in the world.

I have interaction with family who are in the UK and also in Canada, along with investors and clients in different regions. The discussions are always different with differing opinions and perspectives of each person and what part of the world they are based in along with the industry they are linked to.

What are your views on the market? Do you see it in a positive light or negative? What part of the world/continent are you in? And what industry are you associated to?

I have had discussions with bankers, teachers, real estate professionals along with seasoned investors.

Imagine having realestate in a country thats being bombed just because “why not”.
      yeah no.

Its ultimately a bet on ceasefire, you kinda want to “buy the bombed dip”.
if you have high risk appetite, do it.

Personally im out but i think this is actually the first “buyersmarket” dubai had since years and years.
      opportunity? yes
do i like my house being bombed into dust? nah 😀

Gigantic bubble founded on a completely unsustainable premise. All these villas being sold will be underwater in 20 years. The salinity in the environment alone will make it an uninhabitable wasteland. One day there will be helicopter tours of abandoned skyscrapers half buried in shifting sands, a monument to mankind’s limitless hubris. The professionals know this, they’re just trying to find enough Russians in need of money laundering and imbeciles from the UK willing to be bagholders so they can take the cash and split.
