    1. Left Spotify 2 years ago after having it for 10 years when they started increasing prices. Never looked back. I pay the same amount of money for youtube premium. Youtube music is not as good of an app as spotify but overall the way better package.

Man, these earnings reports can really be a rollercoaster. Seeing a name like Spotify take a hit is always a tough pill, especially if you were holding. It just goes to show how quickly sentiment can shift. Hope everyone watching this one is managing their risk.

    3. I am honestly surprised how much Spotify use has held up.

I moved the family from Spotify to YouTube Music over a year ago now and could not see ever going back.

I would have thought I was not that unusual and there would be tons doing the same.

    4. They keep making their UI worse with AI-coded slop and raising prices to boot. They’re shooting themselves in the foot.

Looks like a lot of people in the thread are hating on Spotify.

On my end, I cannot see myself moving away from the platform anytime soon. I have the family plan and all my loved ones like the platform too. I discover some good music from time to time, the algorithm knows me and I think it’s a fair price for what I get. Just my 2 cents.
