I am about to turn 18, and have about 10k USD (not from US) in savings. I want to put about 8k of it into investments, and let it sit for 4 years until I finish uni. I know it's not a lot, but it's better than nothing, and it means I won't blow it without realising. I've been doing research into ETFs, and think that's best for what I want, but in desperate need of help and advice! Any good sites to manage portfolios etc? Is it worth investing this much or should I just leave it in a good bank account? Will I get any money from dividends? Thank you!
* Also, realise this isn't the best subreddit, but I don't have enough karma to post on others. Hopefully this is still an appropriate place

> not from US
What country?
This specific sub is heavily US based.
Your country generally dictates what specific products are available to you. Options will vary by nation.
Consider a more local sub if you are not US.

split between different ETFs. research whats a good mix for the 4 year horizon. i suggest 5-10 year horizon is safer
