Hi everyone!
So I will be travelling to Brazil about 3x per year (as well as my sister), and I am inexperienced and learning how to utilize credit cards efficiently. I am based in CT, so flights will most likely be JFK to GRU. If loyalty will give me the best ROI, I don't mind getting a company-specific CC. I have looked at Venture X, Delta AMEX, Chase Saphire, etc.
I am going to spend $3,200 on tickets within the next week and would like to get the rewards for those! I like the idea of lounge access, but not a definite need. I will also be getting Global Entry (since I know some offer a $ credit).
Please let me know what you guys think will be my best option!

delta skymiles gold might work well for your route since delta flies direct jfk to gru and you’re looking at 3 trips per year. the spending bonus would cover most of that $3200 purchase you mentioned and you’d rack up skymiles pretty quick with regular brazil trips
just keep in mind delta miles can be weird to redeem sometimes – they don’t have fixed award chart so prices bounce around a lot. might want to compare with venture x since that gives you more flexibility in booking options
