Hi Bay Area community.. I'm advising a small local real estate tech company and we're trying to validate something before we scale it. The premise is simple: most buyers today find their home on Zillow or Redfin themselves, so why pay 2.5–3% for a buyer's agent? We've built something that handles the offer, disclosures, and closing for a fraction of the cost. Before I push them to grow, I want to hear from real buyers. Has anyone gone agent-free, or thought about it? What stopped you, or what worked?
