* Current cards:
* Amazon credit card, local credit union CC
* FICO Score: 758
* Oldest account age: 1 year 9 months
* Income: $65,000
* Average monthly spend and categories:
* dining $100-$200
* groceries: $200-300
* travel: $1000-4000 yearly
* gas: $50
*Looking for No annual fees
*I currently use my local credit union card for everything but it only has 1.5% and I'm looking to get 1-2 cards with higher percentages for the specific things I spend lots on like groceries and dining. I also plan on doing yearly travel in the future so that will be thousands as I plan to go out of country as well.
So overall having one for the monthly spending of dinning or groceries and another for travel would be optimal I'm thinking? Mostly interested in cash back since I don't really like having to use points inside the card company's ecosystem like chase travel for example, since it's more limiting.

For a travel card based on that statement about travrl look into the us bank connect for travel
Citi Custom Cash will handle one of your categories. Citi Double Cash is a nice 2% catch-all card that you can later PC to a CCC for another category.
US Bank Altitude Connect has a 4% travel and gas reward, and 4 PP lounge visits
If you have utility bills, US Bank Cash+ or Elan Max Cash. They are pick-2 5% category cards.
At your spend level you’ll probably make more $$$ harvesting SUBs. In other words, direct your spending into new cards to satisfy the SUB spending requirement, then go find a new card
