I (19F) work full time. I make adequate money and have a bit saved up. I am currently freaking out because someone opened a $3000 loan in my name with all of the correct information on Upstart. I am freaking thefuck out. I cannot afford to pay back that much over the course of 5 years. I have contacted customer service 4 times in the last hour, and they tell me someone will be in touch and that I may still be on the hook for this loan. I really have no idea what to do other than continuing to contact and dispute. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. I am so lost when it comes to finances and this is just making my head go a million miles per hour.

Like seriously, any advice or similar stories would help immensely. I’ve never been in this situation before. I’ve never even had anyone take my credit card info, so I’m just so completely lost

Don’t believe them for a second that you might be on the hook for the loan. They are lying to you hoping you’ll pay it off so they don’t lose the money. Do not trust them, they do not have your best interest in mind.
Steps below assume you’re in the US.
Go here to start the process of dealing with indentity theft.

Then go to each credit bureau to report the fraud to them and get your credit frozen.
Equifax
Experian
TransUnion
DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY. File a police report. This could be a complete fraud, there may be no loan. Check your credit history at Equifax, Transunion, and Experion. See if there is a loan there. If there is dispute the loans with the agency. Lock your credit at Equifax, Trans Union, Experion. It is free. Leave it locked until you need it. Call your attorney generals or equivalent and ask for help. Contact Clark Howards help line 636-49C-LARK (636-492-5275). If the bank says it is your load get the loan paper work and see where you WRITE A PAPER LETTER to dispute the loan. WRITE THE PAPER LETTER and send it certified mail signature required.
This sounds kind of scammy.
Have you checked your credit report and verified that this is actually your debt?
You can go to “freecreditreport.com” and get a free credit report, you can do this for free once a year.
If this debt isn’t on your credit report, you can tell these people to f-off. They’re trying to scam you. Do not give them any of your personal information, mother’s maiden name, birth day, SS number.
File a police report on the stolen identity right now.
Review your credit report for all activity, including credit inquiries you do not know of.
It may be someone close to you who did this. Keep that in mind. WHo has access to your information?
Whatever you do do not make any payment on it.
Freeze your credit with all 3 credit bureaus. Dispute the loan. File a police report as most places will need that to remove the loan.
Do not send a PENNY !! Seek help from people who know more . Can your parents help you?
