I am from the U.S. and I will be doing my Master's in Europe. I am looking for a good travel credit card which can be used in Europe that has good benefits and I'd love to hear all your opinions.
I am currently making payments for my program and I am optimally looking for a credit card with a limit $7500 or above. I am also looking for benefits like travel discounts for flights.

Do you have any personal credit history? If no, zero chance you will get this high of a limit or even come close to it, as your first card.
How many cards do you have now and for how long? Do you have banking relationship with any major US banks?
