I'm not really sure if this is the right place to post, but I am a special education teacher of nearly 10 years who now needs to make a career switch due to my own health. I'd love to still work in supporting people with disabilities so I thought I'd possibly like to learn more about working in the STD/LTD disability claims field. Anyone here able to answer some questions I have?

    1. Do you need any advanced certifications or degrees to get into this type of work?

    2. What are some of the best companies to work for in terms of STD/LTD disability claims?

    3. What other info do I need to know before possibly pursing this path?

Thanks in advance and I look forward to connecting with you!

    1. For a different opportunity if it interests you, consider claims or corporate learning and development. I have worked with a number of wildly talented former educators who excel in the role as a trainer or instructional designer. You dont even need industry experience to break into the role.
