    1. WTF MAN I JUST LOST $33,000 EXPECTING THE $500M CARE PACKAGE TO GO THROUGH….

    2. That’s how it should work. You can’t run a business right, it falls 🤷

Once again the US Government has created spirit bag holders unable to afford their baggage fees.

What’s that saying? “If I had a nickel every time this happened I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice”

Dang I have been staring at their old bankrupt ticker wondering why it was so boring.

Wonder how bad the government package was that the bond holders said I will take nothing instead of doing your deal.

Fuck – Where are we going to get all the chick fight videos now?

    7. everyone always jokes about Spirit(personally have never flown them) but this is awful news for us. Spirit seemed to serve lot of family destinations where even w all the fees, families could save significant money on airfare. Plus if someone needs to take a last minute flight Spirit was still decent price vs something like Delta

I flew them a few times rt for like $88. Uncomfortable seats, but for that price I would’ve stood.
Sucks that they are going the way of Kiwi. And JetBlue is probably not far behind.

    9. Good. That’s called capitalism. You shouldn’t get a government bail out because you fucked up your business. If your business sucks it’s supposed to go under.

Sick of the government of supposed “free markets” intervening

I hope Spirit Halloween buys the remnants and does some spooky flights

Is it still possible that a government bail out could still be reached or never?

If they didn’t save $SAVE and actually screwed shareholders like me, they shouldn’t save $FLYYQ.

Yeah the merger would have made JetBlue the fifth largest airline in the US. Fifth! That would have been really terrible for some reason. Well I hope they’re happy with themselves because now competition is reduced anyway. Almost as stupid as the blocked Coach/Michael Kors merger. Like who gives af?
